UIUPC Fall 2019 Member Recruitment and Photography Workshop Series Announcement

Hello photography enthusiasts , UIU Photography Club is going start its member recruitment process for the Fall'19 semester. There is going to be a registration booth beside The Library during class hours. Registration : 12th October , 2019 - 14th October , 2019 Registration fee : 200tk New members will be offered 3 basic photography workshops on behalf of UIUPC to kickstart their photographic journey. The details are as follows , Workshop on Basics of Photography and Orientation : The orientation of newly recruited members will take place at 18th October , 2019. Introduction to our club committee , our signature yearly exhibitions and talks on our activities will be the main topics of the orientation. Along with it , we'll also conduct a workshop on basics of photography. Composition , Light and Shade , Framing , Digital Media , Photography Ethics and many more topics will be discussed here. This workshop is absolutely FREE for newly recruited members. These following workshops will be MEMBER only and details will be discussed during orientation. Please contact the booth for furthur inquiry. Graphics Workshop : Post processing is very important to create good professional photos. Keeping this in mind , UIUPC will conduct a 3 days long workshop on Graphics and Photo Editing. The softwares that are going to be dicussed are , Adobe Photoshop , Illustrator and Lightroom. The mentors for this workshop are M. Shamim Reza and Saikat Kumar Saha , both of them are working professionally in this area for a long time. Workshop on Portrait Photography : Now a days , most of the commercial works are done by prominent portrait photographers. Naturally , this interests newcomers to portrait photography and thus the workshop. In this 3 days long worshop , we'll discuss lens and gears , light setup and various techniques used to get those gorgeous portraits . We'll also see the works of some renowned photographers and discuss their work strategies. This workshop will be mentored by Mohiuzzaman Bornav , who has been working professionally as a portrait photographer for quite a few years. Hope to see you at the registration booth. Happy clicking.
